Former Ghanaian footballer, Charles Taylor, has caused a stir in the Black Stars camp with his recent claims that Dede Ayew’s absence from the team’s game against Angola was not due to injury, but rather because he was angry.
Despite being listed among the injured players, Charles alleges that Ayew’s absence was due to his dissatisfaction with being benched for the first leg of the game. He suggests that Ayew may have chosen not to travel with the team for the second leg as a result of this frustration.
Taylor has also criticized the management of the Black Stars, stating that new faces are being introduced to the team far too frequently. He believes that the team should stick to a more consistent line-up to ensure greater cohesion and success.
“Maybe because he didn’t play the first leg at Baba Yara, that’s why he decided not to travel with the squad and not because he’s injured”, Charles Taylor emphasized
He revealed all this in an interview with Sports Obama on Angel Sports, which was monitored by Fishfmonline.com.
